Coastal Ridge Farm
Our sunflowers do not bloom all at one time. There is a steady progression of new flowers opening every week. This assures you of pretty flowers throughout the sunflower season.
WE DO NOT SELL WHOLESALE. You may fill your bucket with up to 50% sunflowers and plenty of the other beautiful flowers. We reserve the right to close IF: We run out of flowers. We run out of parking. Field conditions are too muddy. Weather conditions become dangerous. We are not easily handicapped accessible, but wheelchairs are possible if you have a strong pusher/helper. Call. Hard ground & short mowed grass walking zones. Strollers & wagons are welcome. Portalet facilities are cleaned 3-4 times daily. Handwashing station with soap, water & paper towels. We have water for your buckets. Parking is on sod, drive slowly. We do not have picnic tables here, but you are welcome to bring your lunch. Don't litter. Bring a camp chair. We do not have farm animals. We do not have any special children's activities. Keep your children close to you. We do not have food vendors here. We do not have an available photographer here. We do not sell buckets or clippers. BYO bucket & clipper. Please, No glitter balloons and No balloon releases. They endanger the health of our wildlife. You may see some of the wild turkeys who roam through our farm, or maybe butterflies, various birds (including hummingbirds), or other woodland creatures who cross our farm daily. No events. No pets. No music. No drones. Rough Ground! Flat, sturdy, old shoes are recommended. Watch out for annoying holes dug by nighttime critters. Do me a favor, kick some dirt back in the hole. Watch out for ants. We DO NOT spray for insects or critters. They are all part of our complex ecosystem. We love pollinators. Gently & slowly shake any unwanted flying guests out of your flowers and wait a minute. They will move on. Yes, bees love sunflowers, but they are busy foraging for food, not chasing you. HINT: Home Depot at Exit 4 Picayune/Kiln sells buckets. Pick one up on your way here. |
